This blimp has made several appearances at South Lake Union in the past few weeks, leading me to dub it the psychedelic blimp. Apparently the King 5 helicopter was sent to investigate too. After perusing the Seattle Metblogs site, however, I finally learned what its purpose is... to inspire children? Oh well, at least it's fun to look at.
